Can you perform WBS codes alignment inside Toric? If you have several projects with misaligned WBS codes and want to do the alignment at the transform layer. Is this possible?

Yes you can perform this in Toric, assuming we are getting the correct primary keys to align on, Toric can perform multi-field joins, appends and complex data coalescing functions. Check our Nodes section out for further information.

Permission Setting Types

Right now we have 2 permission matrix, one on the level of Organizations, the other on the level of Projects.

Organization

Owner

First person to sign up with a domain name (ex: patrick@turner.com) and to create an organization (ex: Turner) is assigned owner. Only the owner can change the roles of all users in this same organization. Only owners can as well modify any organization settings (ex: name, avatar, MFA, SSO, billings).

Members

An organization member is a user that sign up with an existing domain name (ex: sam@turner.com) and who access to the organization was granted by an owner.

A member can access everything in the organization, at the exception of administrate the organization (ex: organization settings, change roles of members, billings, etc…)

Visitors

Visitors are users that sign up with an existing domain name (ex: paul@turner.com) that was not granted access yet from the owner. Visitors cannot import data with automations or access any existing resources of the organization (ex: automations, warehouses, connectors, projects, apps, etc…)

Visitors can however create new projects and create dataflows (inside projects they have created).

Collaborators

Collaborators are listed in the “members” list of an organization, but they are not fully part of it.

They are “external users” / “guests”, therefor their security requirements are different than a member (ex: they don’t have to set up MFA or SSO, even is it was enforced by the org). The collaborator role is gained by virtue of being invited to access a project inside of an organization.

A collaborator cannot navigate through the organization other than inside the project(s) he has been invited to access. The collaborator role cannot be promoted to any other roles. Owners/members/visitors cannot be demoted to collaborator either.

Projects

Owner

A user gains the project ownership by being the first person to create it.

They can invite and change roles of other users from this same project (ie. promote, demote, or remove). Owner can also delete the project.

Bug: an owner can demote themselves to an editor, at which point if they are the only person in the project, the project can on longer be deleted.

Editor

Editor cannot delete a project or change other users’ roles. Editor can rename a project, and invite others to be editors (but not owners) of the project.

Ps. “My Draft” is a special project that cannot be shared, renamed, or deleted. It is untitled to you, and you only.

Can ‘Visitor’ accounts connect to Google Drive and/or Google Sheets?

No, ‘Visitor' accounts are designed temporary and designed to help transition account types.

This is a test for Tanay!!!!
